Hey guys – this is Chris writing again about another one of my favorite clients and their custom bandana design!
I worked with John on getting some awesome Boeing Fire Department CST-100 Extrication Team custom bandanas done so their crew has some protection against the elements of the desert in New Mexico. Boeing is currently preparing their CST-100 Starliner to be a next-generation space capsule built to take people and cargo to and from low-Earth orbit. Upon its return, the Boeing Fire Department CST-100 Extrication Team will assist in the support of landings of the CST-100 Starliner by approaching the module, getting measurements for ground-cooling, and removing the astronauts. Once the spacecraft gets into routine missions, it will deliver astronauts to the space station every six months!
The Boeing Fire Department CST-1000 Extrication Team will be using their awesome custom bandanas to keep themselves protected in the high heat of the desert, and they are great for filtering the dust and sand they will encounter. Hoorags are also great for moisture-wicking, which comes in handy for high-pressure situations and for keeping cool.
