Apples are awesome. Whether you’re grabbing one as a snack on the way out the door, putting them in pies, or turning them into juice, they’re one of the staples of American diets. Our love of apples has made them one of the most diverse species of plants in existence. Some estimates suggest there are more than 30,000 different kinds around the world! All of those apples have to come from somewhere which is where this week’s feature client comes in.
Samascott Orchards is a family-owned orchard that has been around since the early 1900s. Originally a small apple farm with about 7 varieties, they now boast as many as 70 different kinds of apples. On top of that, they grow a ton of other amazing produce like berries, cucumbers, and kiwis. !f you live in the New York area and want to spend an afternoon picking apples you can check them out here.
With all of that produce, they needed a way to sell it. Back in the 1960s they moved into the “Pick-Your-Own” style. People could come and explore their 1,000-acre farm and pick the produce that caught their eye. This is where our custom bandanas came in! They wanted a promo item that was both practical and a reminder of what it is they do. Our custom bandanas checked both of those boxes. They would protect their customers from the sun, and they could customize them with great photos of their farm. It was a home run!
