ChaseN’Tailz KDW Fishing Tournament

chsentailz-memorial-eventHoo-Rag is honored to help celebrate the memory of Chase Warren during the first annual ChaseN’Tailz fishing tournament that will be held on September 13, 2014 in Jupiter, Florida.

Who is Chase Warren? Chase was born on October 1, 2012 as what appeared to be a healthy baby boy but this joyous story for two proud parents quickly became a heartwrenching tragedy. Over the next ten months, the Warren family watched baby Chase get progressively more sick while no doctors could explain the cause of his symptoms. Chase Warren passed away on August 7, 2013 while surrounded by family members – two days later the Warren family received their son’s diagnosis which was the fatal and untreatable, Gaucher Type 2.

The Warren family has created the ChaseN’Tailz fishing tournament in memory of their son and to spread awareness and raise funds for rare diseases such as Gaucher Type 2 – all proceeds will be donated to the National Gaucher Foundation.

Support for the Warren’s tragic story has been overwhelming with local businesses sponsoring the event. Hoo-Rag cannot express how honored we are to donate Hoo-Rags for the captain’s bags and the prizes/raffles that will be held during the fishing tournament.

Make-up Artist Alina Suave Brings Skull Mask to Life

skull-mask-paintHooligan and make-up artist, Alina Suave, has transformed two of our zombie-inspired bandanas into works of art.

Creativity is the driving force behind Hoo-Rag’s unique bandana designs and we take great pride in every single one. Ecstatic is an understatement when it comes to how we felt the first time we encountered @Puuurrr on Instagram. Alina had taken inspiration from our Skull Daddy and The Walker Hoo-Rags to create face paintings that were nothing short of phenomenal – she has quickly become one of our favorite Hooligans!

Remember to show off how you rock the rag by using #hoorag on all social media platforms.

Hooligan Spotlight: Nock Down Outdoors

Two serious Hooligans, Nate Hescht and Jay Cox took their love for the outdoors and turned it into a serious hobby.

“In my early 20s, I began filming those unforgettable moments in the deer stand and seeing those raw and emotional moments through the camera motivated me to learn as much as I can about filming and the outdoors, ” Nate said.

A few years later he teamed up with Jay and the two started to fish and hunt together – and get it all on film! And not some shoddy I-phone video footage either, these guys produce some quality stuff. Check out their latest video of their trip to Escatawba in Virginia for some sick Rainbow Trout fishing:

Nate said Nock Down Outdoors to him “is about the hunt, the story and the brotherhood through the countless hours in the field.”

Glad to have these guys rockin’ the rag! Check out all their awesome videos at Nock Down Outdoors.

@dillcrack with a new vid

As our company grows we get to meet new customers each and every week and the relationships we establish with these customers yield some exciting conversations, emails, photos, and sometimes videos. This week we have been chatting with one of our favorite instagrammers Josh Diller (aka @dillcrack). Josh resides in Copper Mountain, Colorado and has multiple talents. He is an angler, BMX rider and snowboarder and just so happens to rock the Hoo-rag on the daily.

Josh sends us great photos all the time, but this week we are excited about a video he put together with him and his buddies while they were working at Camp Woodward at Copper Mountain, Colorado. Check out Josh and his crew and give him a follow on instagram.

2013 ends and 2014 begins!

As 2013 comes to a close the Hoo-rag family wants to wish you and your family a Happy Holiday season. We are all prepared to take a few days off to spend time with our own family and friends and hope you have plans to do the same. 2013 was a great year for our company and we want to thank our customers for helping us grow. With a keen focus on our online retail and customs business we saw company growth that we couldn’t be more proud of. We printed custom bandanas for lots of great companies and enjoyed dealing with owners, purchasing agents, marketing directors and more. We would like to say thank you for doing business with us.

2014 is going to be a great year and we have a ton of goals, ambitions, and things to accomplish. First and foremost we are setup to begin the expansion of our wholesale/retail business. Our goal is to establish and maintain great relationships with retail locations that want to carry the Hoo-rag. With new retail display options available, and a 2014 retail catalog complete, we have established the systems, shipping, and logistics necessary to fulfill retail orders.
If you are a retailer or know a great retailer, please contact us to learn how you can start carrying the Hoo-rag in your store.

In closing, we want to thank all of our loyal customers, fans, and partners a very happy holiday and hope you take the time to enjoy what’s most important. Your family, friends, and time with those that matter most. We hope you take the time to relax, and focus on the important stuff. We know we will, and wish you a safe and happy holiday season and a prosperous 2014.

Happy Holidays!
