It’s Kody again with another one of our featured clients! Our products have always been popular with certain industries like construction or running. Every now and then we’ll get a client that’s a bit off the beaten path though. That’s what happened with the Florida Public Archaeology Network! They reached out to us awhile back for custom bandanas and we’ve had a great relationship ever since.
In hindsight it seems obvious. Archaeologists spend a lot of time outside because all those amazing relics from the past have to be dug up. If Hollywood is to be believed, they also spend a lot of time in deserts and battling sandstorms caused by cursed relics. Our custom bandanas will protect you against evil spirit infused sandstorms AND ultraviolet rays. What more can you ask for?
On a more serious note, the Florida Public Archaeology Network used these as a giveaway for an event they used to do called Archaeology Bootcamp. It offered hands-on training in archaeological excavation methods. There were also lectures about professional archaeology and some history lessons about the area around their headquarters in Jupiter, Florida. While that specific event isn’t coming up anytime soon they do host and participate in a number of other events. If you’re a treasure hunter at heart look at their website at www.fpan.us.
